Petition To Rename Trump Tower Street After Barack Obama Makes Way

A joke that's made waves.
Elizabeth Rowin jokingly started a petition to rename a section of Fifth Avenue between 56th and 57th Street to "President Barack H. Obama" since the location is the same block as the Trump Tower's which means the landmark's address could be changed to "725 Barack H. Obama Avenue, New York, NY 10022."

Rapper, producer and songwriter Missy Elliott will receive MTV’s Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award on Aug. 26 at the 2019 VMAs, Variety has learned exclusively. She will perform live at the awards show for the first time in 16 years.
 
“Missy’s impact on the music landscape is indelible,” said Bruce Gillmer, MTV Intl. co-brand head and Viacom music and music talent head. “Her creative vision across production, performance and songwriting is unmatched.”

A whole heap of actors are coming to Coming to America. The sequel to the 1988 comedy — known as Coming 2 America, naturally — has added Wesley Snipes, Leslie Jones, Kiki Layne (If Beale Street Could Talk), and rapper Rick Ross to the cast. Additionally, original cast members James Earl Jones and Paul Bates are returning, joining Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall, who will reprise their (primary) roles from the original film.

Lil Nas X officially has the longest-running No. 1 single in the history of American popular music with his novelty hit, “Old Town Road.” He beats the record originally set in 1995 with Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men’s “One Sweet Day.” It was tied in 2017 with the Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber hit, “Despacito.”
