Rihanna Celebrates 15-Year Anniversary of 'Pon de Replay' 

Rihanna's debut single, "Pon de Replay," was released 15 years ago. On Sunday night (May 24), the singer joined the celebration of the song's anniversary on social media, where #15YearsOfRihanna trended.

"Thank you for all the love on this hashtag today! Man this is trippy," Rihanna wrote in an Instagram story. "Feels like just yesterday I was shaking in the hallways of Def Jam waiting to audition for Jay."

"Pon de Replay is where it all began....15 years later and I'm here because God led me to you, and you guys have held me up, supported me, tolerated me, loved me, kept it too real with me, and we gon always be connected because of that!" she said of the song, which dropped on May 24, 2005 and was included on her first studio album, Music of the Sun

“Hey, so I don’t want to beat a dead horse and I don’t want to, you know, go on and on about this post thing, but I just want to remind you that in that post -- my one and only personal declaration I’ve ever made, thanks for being so warm and welcoming -- you know, was about the need for fragility in the feminist movement. Gossip Girl Reboot Won't Arrive Until 2021 Due To Coronavirus 

You'll have to wait a little bit longer for more Gossip Girl.

HBO Max's eagerly-anticipated reboot of the CW show will not arrive until 2021, as production has been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The series was scheduled to begin filming in March, which is about the time everything in Hollywood started to shut down.

“They hadn’t even started production yet; they were in pre-production and ready to roll,” HBO Max chief content officer Kevin Reilly told Vulture, which first reported the news. “Things that would have been really meaningful and high profile have gotten pushed back," he added.

Lana Del Rey has defended herself against accusations of racism, arising from a statement she made about double standards in the music industry.

In a long Instagram post this week the singer claimed she had been depicted as anti-feminist, despite singing about similar themes as other female artists.

But some fans remarked the examples she chose - among them Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé - were mainly black women.

According to Billboard, Doja Cat and The Weeknd are about to release a special quarantine remix

On Tuesday (May 19), Doja put up a cheeky Twitter poll with The Weeknd listed as one of the possible collaborators on phony songs with titles including "Stuart Little," "Gumby" and "Pi--y T--s."

"Which one of these artists have I collaborated with and will be releasing the song to very soon?" she asked. A short time later she tweeted simply, "in your eyes," as well as changing her Twitter handle to the name of the song from Weeknd's recent After Hours album.

Umbrella Academy Cast Reveals Season 2 Premiere Date This Summer 

Get your umbrellas ready!

The cast of Netflix's The Umbrella Academy just revealed the show's season 2 premiere date, July 31, in true quarantine style. Ellen Page, Robert Sheehan, Tom Hopper, and more of the original cast danced around in their homes in an announcement video that nods to the series' pilot.

Other season 1 cast members returning for season 2 include David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Aidan Gallagher, and Justin H. Min. And, as previously announced, three new actors have been added to the show based on the comics from Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá. The newcomers will play original characters created for the series that did not appear in the comics.

John Boyega couldn't keep his new ink a secret any longer — and his mom promptly scolded him.

On Tuesday, the Star Wars actor, 28, comedically documented his plight in telling his parents, Samson and Abigail, about his chest tattoo, offering a play-by-play of himself bracing for admonishment as his sister, Grace, hilariously enjoyed the spectacle.
