Kevin Hart Stands Up for Britney Spears While Talking About How 'Fame is False' 

Kevin Hart doesn't believe in fame.

The 37-year-old comedian spoke about the illusion of celebrity during a Sirius XM Town Hall in New York City on Wednesday promoting his new film Kevin Hart: What Now?

"It's not like your life changes because of the level of success that you have," Hart explained to the event’s host, SNL star Kenan Thompson. "At the end of the day people are people.'

Hart also wants fans to look at celebrities as regular human beings.

Gabrielle Union Sues BET Over ‘Being Mary Jane’ Contract 

Gabrielle Union is suing BET over the hit series, Being Mary Jane.  According to The Hollywood Reporter, Union filed suit in a Los Angeles Superior Court Tuesday (Oct. 11), accusing the cable network of combining two seasons in an attempt to “fraudulently extend” her contract without paying for the work.

The suit states that a BET representative “assured” Union that the network would “never produce more than 13 episodes per season,” which would allow her time to work on other projects.

Amber Tamblyn Tells Horrific Sexual Assault Story in Light of Donald Trump’s Audio Revelation 

Amber Tamblyn is speaking out in light of the recently released video of Donald Trump’s derogatory comments about women. The 33-year-old actress penned a graphic essay on Instagram about being sexually assaulted by her ex, using it as the caption of a picture of Trump kissing a Miss Universe winner.

She began the piece writing that she was sharing her story “with the love and support” of her husband, David Cross. Tamblyn noted that prior to her four-year marriage to Cross, she ended “a long emotionally and physically abusive relationship.”

She recalled attending a show with some friends in Hollywood shortly after her split, when her ex approached her in the crowd.


“He’s a big guy, taller than me,” she wrote.

Drake Sets Record with 13 2016 American Music Awards Nominations & Rihanna Second with Seven 

Drake broke a 32-year record for the most American Music Awards nominations with 13 nods, beating Michael Jackson's previous high mark of 11 from 1984. The "Hotline Bling" rapper leads all 2016 American Music Awards nominees with nods in categories including Artist of the Year, Favorite Male Artist, Favorite Album, Favorite Rap Artist, Favorite Rap Song and Favorite R&B song, among others. If he wins in any of the categories it will make his first AMA win.

Rihanna was just behind Drizzy with seven nominations for the show that will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Solange Scores Her First No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 Chart With 'A Seat at the Table' 

Solange earns her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, as her latest release, A Seat at the Table, arrives atop the tally. It beats out Bon Iver’s 22, A Million, for No. 1 -- an album that was initially forecast to bow in the penthouse. It debuts at No. 2.

A Seat at the Table launches with 72,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending Oct. 6, according to Nielsen Music -- a stronger-than-expected start. Gabrielle Union held nothing back while speaking with Vibe about the importance of her latest role in Nate Parker’s Birth of A Nation.

The Being Mary Jane actress along with her on-screen husband Colman Domingo were on hand at the Toronto Film Festival to discuss the importance of the film, and how sexual violence was used as a tool to destroy the black family.
